“ Modern Day Women’s Mysteries”
With Jane Hardwicke Collings
It was powerful to hear Jane speak about how profoundly we are influenced by the surrounding cultural beliefs and attitudes ~ how much of what we
think of possible is determined by this, and that we do not often even realize how we have been limited by it.
~ Her talk was a real eye-opener about the shamanic nature of women’s experience.
~ She spoke about acknowledging and learning from each of the women’s rites of passage: birth, menarche, pregnancy, and menopause. (I got a the
gift of some new understanding about my own birth and the positive gift that came from a really challenging experience - as an example to help you
understand about your own process of healing and learning). ~And she takes us to a very sweet place, urging us to make birthing our
children a kind, gentle and natural experience of empowerment and beauty for both mother and child to create lifelong resilience!
I think you will learn so much from this, and it’s important for men as well as women to know these things.
